Costs of introduction courses and the single modules

Depending on requests many interesting topics are being looked at such "Snoezelen with babies and toddlers", "Snoezelen to promote leaning", "Imaginary journeys", "Effects and use of music", ""Snoezelen for dementia-type illnesses", "Introduction of the Snoezelen-cart" etc. Experienced and qualified experts can be requested for in-house training courses in order to deliver training tailored to your facility's needs.

Two-day Introduction course "Free Snoezelen" 
Even for "Free Snoezelen", which is aimed at recuperation, rest and relaxation, lighting and preparation of positioning need to be considered. Music, pictures and often scents need to be adapted to each individual client. The companion has to have the intuition to recognise if a client desires closeness or not and needs to pay attention to the clients' well-being. In consideration of participants' needs/field of work the courses will deliver and illustrate a wide range of examples for different age groups and developmental stages. Of course, general targets and contents of Snoezelen as support and therapy method are being addressed.

Basic Module I: An introduction course  
Basic Module II: Didactic and methodical principles in practice and theory

Cost per Practical Module including course materials 
Practical Modules III, IV and V: Thematic focus on participants' requests - (c.f. homepage International additional qualification). ).

The courses required to obtain the "International recognised additional qualification Snoezelen" last - Basic Modules 3 days each - Practical Modules 2 days each - and can be spread over one or two years.

Requirements:
In order to deliver an in-house training course certain requirements need to be met.

• A Snoezelen-room or suitable equivalent - possibly with some materials/equipment- should be available for the practical parts of the course and possibly a room for the theory work; furthermore media such as projector etc
• room sizes need to be adequate for desired number of participants
• minimum number of participants is 6, maximum 10

Costs for groups of 6 to 10 participants who would like to obtain the "Additional qualification Snoezelen" will be agreed individually. 
The Module consists of altogether 12 training days (spread over 2 years). Generally courses take place from 9am to 4.30pm.
(The organiser / facility can decide, how many participants they want to train. The room size needs to be adequate for the practical implementation. Maximum number of participants is 10.)

Besides the cost of an in-house training course, further costs for accommodation, meals and travel expenses of the lecturer will be added.
